The American India Foundation Trust, a registered charity in India, is the operational arm of the American India Foundation, a non-profit organization focused exclusively on India. It was founded in 2001 at the initiative of President Bill Clinton after the Gujarat earthquake and substantially involves People of Indian Origin living in the USA. 

The overarching goal of this project is to increase demand for secondary education as well as improve access, retention, and learning within secondary education in Kutch district, Gujarat.

The project builds on the Learning and Migration Programme (LAMP) which provides primary school children from the migrant population with access to education.
